Who We Are
Safe Haven is an emerging non-profit whose purpose is to provide a safe sanctuary of healing for girls rescued from sex trafficking. It is dedicated to providing a nurturing home atmosphere that addresses the complexities of healing trauma on an emotional, psychological and spiritual level in order to become healthy, whole and productive members of society.
We are in the process of purchasing a home where rescued victims will experience a loving family atmosphere as well as therapy, education and training in life skills with professional staff. Long term care up to one year will be provided for girls 11-17 years of age; with follow-up care and support.
"The number of human trafficking cases in Montana doubled in 2016 from the previous year, according to data from the Department of Justice."
- Flathead Beacon, May 20, 2017
"We have a massive [trafficking] problem across this country and we only have a few select facilities to offer care...It's something that we need to see more of."
- Sgt. Daniel Steele, Rocky Mountain Innocence Lost Task Force
The Need Is Great
There are more people held in the bondage of slavery today than in any other time in history! The atrocity of children being used as property in the multi-billion dollar human trafficking industry is an evil beyond comprehension.
Will you help provide a home for freed slaves?
